Man this guitar store is dope My local guitar center in south Florida dont give any fucks I walk through that place like a ghost When you ask someone to play a guitar you get the vibe you're bothering them I recently went in to buy a Gibson les Paul standard which is not a cheap guitar and no one even offered to help me lol I left and want to another guitar shop I'm about to drop 3k and I'm bothering you? if Noah has no spouse and/or no kids, he's leaving there with the guitar too you know it, i know it and most importantly, the salesman knows it that's why he's got a grin on his face music store salespeople will often gently probe when you are thinking of making additional purchases they'll say something like, "hey, as long as you won't catch hell from your significant other", and if you say, "i'm single" that's a green light to up the pressure a little if they upsell you and you are married/attached they know that's just going to be a return they'll have to process in a couple of days and no one wins

I too suffer from I don’t know how to play at a guitar store I thinks it’s mainly due to it’s not my gear and so that along with a crowd of highly judgmental onlookers, I shut down once I’m home I’m restored to my average self Especially if you hear someone that’s having some success laying down some licks again looking over to see what you got I simply don’t even act interested in guitars I think it’s pretty normal Stage fright

That Deluxe Reverb is like a money market account with high interest, man It's not an expense, it's a sound investment But, you'll be afraid to take it out of the house, and feel great regret after, or if, you ever sell it It's time to whip out the credit card and tell them if they knock $250 off the price you'll save them the hassle of finding the two-wheeler and moving it around and setting it up for everyone who comes through the door Yeh, credit cards are terrible, but if you can pay it off quickly it's not so bad That's my thinking, so you can see why back when I did sports photography I once bought a $7,000 lens on the spur of the moment I used it all the time for ten years, and when my gig changed I resold it for $500 more than I paid, which almost beat inflation Nevertheless, when gear is so good, has such enduring resale value that you basically get to use it for free for years until it eventually gets re-sold, how can you pass it up?
