Solution: I wanted to use a Vanilla gift card on eBay, but it didn’t work when I tried to use it directly on the site Instead, I went to Best Buy’s website and used the Vanilla gift card to buy an eBay gift card

There is another way For around 4000$ you can get a ficticious business name in your local county And get a Square point of sale for your phone to do business Use your card to pay yourself for services rendered This is only an option viable if you get gift cards somehow often through employer bonus or method of regular payments in a given situation

Apparently not every Visa gift card was created equal LOL This method won't work for Vanilla gift cards as it stated - "Your card was declined by the issuing bank Please try a different card or contact your card issuer with questions" Also Vanilla gift cards can't be registered or tied to an address

Virtual Vanilla Gift Cards don't work for anything I won 2 gift cards during a company challenge, and they won't connect to anything or even make a regular online purchase There is no way to change the billing information, and you can only set a pin if you use it in store Card links to Apple Wallet but declines all transactions Vanilla is an entire legal scam
