I live in Dubai and have lived here since 2014 and since 2021 real estate prices have shot up completely out of proportion with the growth of population Everything is way too overpriced for what they get, unless, you don’t care about the quality and only want to move money around, like the cartels do The timeline also matches since the fentanyl trade exploded since 2019 Another reason this makes sense is that because of the pandemic a significant proportion of people left Dubai due to job loss (as a foreigner you need to be working to be able to live here) which caused a massive loss of revenue for the government as real estate prices plunged due to the drop in foreign rent-paying population (there’s a sort of tax called housing fee which is collected every month by the govt here that represents 5 of your rent) and I guess this happened to be an opportunity they couldn’t pass up as they had very little choice otherwise

This is too complicated and stressful If you wanted to launder money in the US especially as a non resident, from experience, the easiest way is through buying stocks or crypto using an FA They don't really ask questions as they're more interested in your money and when the payouts start coming, it's clean money Funny thing is that you even get to still make a lot of profit on that money if you use a good one
