I was the guy transmitting the belly shot of the orbiter on ascent, from a tracking station in south fla, to look for chunks breaking off 4:08 Other sites also picked up the signal as it got higher over the horizon 32 year veteran here, HST, Shuttle, Station,and a ton of other missions in data and communications up until contracts got the best of me

$450 million a launch And this was an attempt to make a cheap “reusable rocket” Great attempt but I believe it failed miserably at achieving its intended purpose Thankfully, thanks to SpaceX and its engineers, our second attempt looks promising
