Microsoft wouldn't let me download a new version/link of a program I had on my old laptop I tried every work around but was blocked Tried this simple method and amazingly it worked A lot of people on the program in question are asking the same question of how to get it on their new laptop Customer support even states it can no longer be downloaded on new laptops due to Microsoft restrictions I don't think I will tell the forum how to do in case Microsoft is hiding in there and figure a way to block this way toobrbrThanks a lot

what you are showing is only copying files from one computer to another It does not copy the Program and Product codes that allows for licensed programs to be transferred to another machine

Will this work on a registered program and retain the registration on the new computer? I have a desktop world clock program that I love, I haven't been able to find anything even close to Crave World Clock The only problem is I have a purchased/registered copy and the key I have does not work on the new computer with a new install The company is gone so I can't repurchase it I'm trying to find some way to transfer the purchased registered version to the new computer (actual same computer just do HDD) and retain the registration
