So I work in an arcade myself and we have that Sponge Bob coin pusher (As well as like 5 others) but NONE of us, be it the actual arcade staff or the repair team can STAND that song that plays from it, it's got to the point that on most days we just turn the music on it off

Back in my day, you got to keep the coins a coin pusher pushed off the edge, and they weren't tokens, they were quarters, but 1990s quarters, which are worth about $5 adjusted for inflation

Here to say Spongebob coin pusher was very good I got a Rare Gary and a Pearl card I refused to give them up, in hopes of getting 2000 hot tickets at my local The Coin Game But Real center one day, but I'm here to say the spinning pineapples are a GREAT time Imagine I'm saying this in a hyperbolic Yelp reviewer voice Anyway it's good but I want to try that fucked up Konami thing, even though it will probably kill me in 72 hours or something

My local arcade has the Willy Wonka one, if you don't win anyting it's screams" good day sir" or " you get nothing" as a person who has played it over 30 times with way too many credits to be proud to admit, I have heard that way too many times Maybe it's just my arcade, but I think you'd have better luck finding a golden ticket in one of those 2006 chocolate bars

Watching this I was so curious to try the spongebob coin pusher and your assessment is so right: its definitely a lot of fun and gives you that gamblers high/low I definitely spent way too much money on it The coins/cards do strategically get stuck on the left/right edges but man when they drop *chefs kiss* Good recs, great video!

For some reason the coin pusher things were all I ever did at arcades, I was a little weirdo I still find them weirdly alluring brSuch a stupid waste of money! I just came back to rewatch this while working and I really appreciate the time and effort that Ian (or whoever did it) put into the closed captions!
