I repeatedly hear to avoid Samsung We recently purchased an Electrolux washer and dryer They're the same ones in this video The washer didn't even work after it arrived We bought them at Home Depot in Brockville Ontario on November 29 and to make a long story short, the replacement won't arrive until February 21 assuming it actually arrives after 4 promises to deliver it and it didn't

I am glad that he did not recommend Speed Queen front loaders They are supremely built but, the do NOT get your clothes clean as, the cycle times are WAY too short! They have cycle times akin to speed queen old school top loaders and front load washers, with less water, less soap and the fact that they fidget around with getting the right amount of water in them to offset absorption, need more time, even once it gets the water right I always had stains after wash and my clothes never really smelled clean, compared to the top load i was used tobrbrI stayed at an Air BnB last year and it had Samsung front load washer in the condo I had to wash a larger load and was dismayed to find that front load washer The unit had Gain detergent which was not my first choice ( Tide) but, it was not the end of the world That washer, really impressed me I was completely surprised to see that the first was was like 27 minutes or something the second was long as well and it allowed me to do an extra rinse ( no front load rinses clothes like old school top load washers, period) The clothes were clean, smelled like detergent (The speed queens at my old apartment never had my clothes smelling good) and again, THEY WERE CLEAN brbrI wish speed queen on their front load units for home, used a bit more water and had longer cycle times

Stay away from Whirlpool natural gas The knobs on the front melted and Whirlpool said it was cosmetic and not a warranty problem When the oven was in use, the control knobs would become so hot they could not be touched Cosmetic? I don't think so

one addition - almost every appliance manufacturer is owned by bra larger conglomerate bosch is not really bosch one exception is Miele brMiele is made in Germany , austria, switzerland , the chech republic and possible one more european company and Miele owns Miele

Bought a new LG washer, it broke after 4 years, $600 repair Their warranty is for 5 years I suspect these are deliberately designed to break around 5 years, and repairs are expensive Avoide LG & Samsung washers!

I am a refrigeration tech at Sears Home Servicesthis ice maker issue has been done by the Samsung Bespoke They actually are great and I even bought one I don't work for Samsung, and will remind everyonedoo NOT buy an LG or Samsung, unless Bespoke, whirlpool and Fridgidaire are fineGe Profile and GE Cafeare the two that I would recommend if not inclined to the Bespoke

A tip for avoiding microwave beeping Hold the number 2 on the microwave until it beeps, after this it wont beep at all This works on most microwaves

Bosch dishwashers are no good I have one, family and friends have them They simply don't clean thoroughly enough while having extended cycle times, especially the knives and forks that are dirty every time Customer service is horrible Everyone raves about Miele

Have a Kenmore fridge in my kitchen that I got from my parents house in 1987 They had it a few years before that I changed the ice maker about 10 years ago That's it Runs great Not stainless steel like the Joneses have but it'll outlast the Joneses fridge and possibly the Joneses

Electrolux used to be top of the line manufacturer, well now they're not Few years ago I remodeled my whole kitchen and bought only Electrolux The washing machine sucs and it broke down 2 times, the microwave display died right after the warranty expired, the induction stove buttons are ultra sensitive so they turn off and on if even a single drop of liquid is near them, kitchen hood is really loud

Everything made in Mexico and China is JUNK Nowadays I have the notorious Problematic Frigidaire FFHB2750TS Rev 9 that's only 3 years old and gently used by myself only I had the typical Ice-maker air leak problem so carefully took everything apart and improved on the already poorly factory installed band aid that makes sure the defrosted moisture drains good and all air gaps sealed The factory has the defrost timer setting to run at about 12 hour intervals and I have verified water flow out of both tubes at the bottom during the cycles There is no ice build up in any of the coils locations but 3-5 minutes into every defrost cycle you get LOUD Shotgun blast K-Pows from several areas of the unit These are much more violent than just plastic/metal expansion noise Any ideas as what it is?
