I met Paul newman after this movie at the Hampton horse classic were he was watching his daughter in the jr riding classic I was there with my daughter When they ammounced his daughter from his marriage to Carol woodword was riding And my daughter asked me if Paul Nieman was here I didn't see him sitting above us in the bleachers I said to my daughter If his daughter is riding he would be here Ther her said " you bet your sweet ass i am here" I looked up and he was wearing the same sun glasses he wore in the color of money A great thrill for me I my list of celebrities meet Includes Paul walker before he passed Ricky Martin and miriah Carey Both I had showed real estate to on culebra puerto rico when I was a real-estate broker there

Always felt that a better ending to this movie would've been to extend this scene by just a few seconds and show Fast Eddie sinking the nine ball on his opening break - winning the game (and the ongoing pissing contest with Vincent) instantly Have the nine ball roll slowly and dramatically to one of the pockets, and slowly drop in Cut to black Cue the music Roll the credits

Even with all the press that he gets, Tom Cruise is very underrated as a "serious" actor He isn't just an "action star"he is the complete package It's in the Color of Money and in Rain Man that he has done his best work, IMO
