Hey guys, I opened my Vanguard account last month and put in £500 into the life strategy 80 to open it! I was planning on doing £200 a month from now on Could I do this instead? Do £180 life strategy and £20 into the emerging markets stock index fund? Am I right that that would just be like doing £200 into the life strategy 80 but I've given myself a higher percentage in the emerging markets? Would there be a fee downside to this? Many thanks!

I invest close to 50 of my portfolio in EM It fits my risk appetite, and while I appreciate this give a geographic concentration, I'm investing through ETFs and Index funds to over some form of diversification

I've been getting frustrated lately trying to find good value stocks in Europe and US and been looking at South Korea Problem is that most brokers don't provide much access to EMs and my best bet would be to use some of the ETFs you mentioned Great ideas guys

You guys honestly do some great videos which i find pretty interesting My one constructive feedback or observation is that they sometimes lack a little empathy? brbrYou're describing an emerging market dip because of covid In one country listed in the video there are literally people begging for oxygen to live at the moment with thousands dying a day I really find it hard to see this as an 'investment opportunity as its portrayed

What do you think of Fundsmith emarging market trustbrbrbrYes they did have poor past performance but ever since Terry smith left to focus on his main fund they have picked up and starting to outperform They have also proposed some new changes which look exciting brbrbrI like the fundsmith approach to emarging markets they have alot of consumer staples and healthcare stocks in there plus they look for companies that have high ROC The company's in fundsmith emarging market trust look strong while I'm the index some are good companys and some crap companysbrbrbrI would like to hear your opinions on what you thinkbrbrAnd do you have any other way to play the emarging markets or is it just through a index fund

Great video and information as usual 👍, I've been invested in first state asia for a few years and that does give me Great exposure to these emerging markets, it has got a high annual charge but it has performed well My main concern is China ruling class, they get heavy handed and make Ceo,s of big company disappear for months on end only to reappear somewhat reeducated They also have some very dodgy accounting practices
