What happened with these?? I personally would not have cracked Probably sent in for crossing to pcgs Definitely for the indian Comment from : @BullionBeast |
Wait a minute They did a crackout for a anacs graded Washington quarter I had with a big chunk of silver hanging off the edge Got an Ms 64 mint error reverse lamination But has still yet to be classified or put in a group by NGC, Comment from : @kurtheffner3397 |
Nice slqleave it as is Comment from : @paulmichael6891 |
I would have another coin expert look at the struck thru possibility coin as if so designated that 3/4 circular wouldn't count against the grade Comment from : @johnsteady9487 |
Great coins, if PCGS is willing to cross them over, thats what I would do I believe it may be worth the risk Comment from : @Juan_Doooh |
PCGS is going to give the $10 a PCGS 64 - sorry to say They will not like the chatter on the obverse chatter behind the head Comment from : @maxlebow7373 |
IlikthecoinvedobrIlikto gradsomofbrMycoins👌😁👍📹 Comment from : @jasonblake8610 |
I believe that $10 lib is a solid 65! Comment from : @asheland_numismatics |
I believe the SLQ is graded properly Comment from : @asheland_numismatics |
The last coin is a $10 Liberty not $10 Indian as mentioned in the video But nevertheless a beautiful coin with great eye appeal 👍 Comment from : @fernandorivera2395 |
Happy Holidays Comment from : @fernandorivera2395 |
A nice group! Comment from : @tekvet01 |
If sent to PCGS you know they will grade Details Cleaned Comment from : @nodakmex |
Unfortunately the SLQ has a long diagonal scratch in the right field, and at NGC or Pcgs it would be a details brbrMorgan is a 61brbrGold is 62 on the indian and 64 on the liberty with a struck thru debris, nothing incredibly rare Comment from : @kole9587 |
Nice coins i think you leave them in the icg holders Comment from : @josefigueroa3930 |
I think ICG coins are good if you are a good grader and will wait a long time to sell the coins Gradeflation will probably continue in the future, so today's 63 is tomorrow's 64 or 65 But like I said, you have to know how to grade ICG (especially the recent slabs) are pretty spotty in terms of high-grade coins I think they do a great job on low- to mid-circulated coins Comment from : @jeffw1267 |
Trust looks damaged on that $10 gold piece Die chip maybe Comment from : @KKustenmacher |
I'd crack the 86-Oa shot at 61/62 Keep and sell the quarter in ICG Comment from : @johnwachter6369 |
As always a great video and discussion To my eye, I would not crack out either of the gold coins The $10 especially I think would disappoint you if you cracked it and submitted it raw The crossover option to PCGS is not a bad idea but I think you may do best just selling them as is Good luck either way Comment from : @LarryStendebach |
Crossover video! Comment from : @enochmunoz3967 |
I would crackout the 1930 quarter and try crossing the 2 gold coins The 1886o is to big of a risk I’d just try to get $700-$800 for it imo Comment from : @tylonnplatinumthe3rd659 |
Sorry that's not a 10 indian but a 10 liberty head Comment from : @harco1theotr869 |
I think keep them in the present holders brTerrific coins Comment from : @coinstruck6079 |
So by Walking Lib Half, you actually meant Standing Lib Quarter 👌🏻 Comment from : @theblake5356 |
I would crack them out and resend them Comment from : @slayerstacker2074 |
HiDont knock ICGbrAm presently in possession ms70 pcgs ? I wouldn't grade it higher than ms68 I refuse to sell it as keeping it as proof grading by 2 main grading companies whole lot bs Comment from : @manueldebrito7910 |
I love seeing mint state SLQ!! Comment from : @coinflipper6331 |
What would you want for the 86 O? It's one of the few I don't have in mint state Comment from : @ad2902 |
If you can make a few bucks in ICG holders, keep them as is You'd kick yourself if those goldies came back at a lower grade Comment from : @brucecoulter312 |
Advise not to molest Most already have a ICG and these will stack on just fine Comment from : @bubba9985 |
If you sent them in to me I’d give you “questionable color” on all of them Just messing, I’d do a cross over for all but the Morgan I’d crack the Morgan out and see if you could get higher Great looking coins though, nice buy Comment from : @kevinrosentreter4978 |
I would buy that SLQ only because I don't have enough cash to buy them all Comment from : @evenruderanger7617 |
Love the 86 o Comment from : @timothyloyd3802 |
Cracking them out would make a good video of us watching you get heartbroken with lower grades on the gold, an AU on the Morgan and “questionable color” on the SLQ Comment from : @brianmiller9949 |
Quarter and dollar are true to grade Both gold are one grade high I'd display quarter and dollar, sell gold at discount No crack-outs Comment from : @highdesert420 |
$10 Liberty is an incredible coin Don’t crack them out but send them in for crossover Comment from : @officeguy3 |
Well, the quality of the coin is what counts, I'd leave the walking liberty alone Comment from : @bobdunn4179 |
I like the coins very much and believe they need to be in pcgs or ncg holders Since pcgs will do crossovers, all 4 with them Upon further thought, you should experiment with mintstatecom on the morgan dollar after your talk with Daniel Why WHAT DO YOU HAVE TO LOSE!!!! Comment from : @paulbegansky5650 |
Thanks for posting these beauties! I would first try to see if they will cross over at the same grade to PCGS In any case, I wouldn't allow a downgrade of the $10 Liberty Eagle - a 65 to 64 downgrade would cut the value about in half Seeing the Half Eagle Indian and Liberty Eagle kind of makes me wish I was in Tucson again this week! I will try to keep an eye on your OPC and eBay sales sites to see if they show up Comment from : @mojavegold- |
I would leave them in the ICG holders They are beautiful just the way they are I don’t see the point in reholdering them Comment from : @saltwatersaddletramp7229 |
Didn’t even know cross over was a thing Learn something everyday Comment from : @HereForChess |
It seems from my experience in playing the "Crackout Game" that ICG are overgraded by a full point Even though people say they have gotten better I don't agree Better off with ANACS vs ICG IMO for what its worth Hahahahahaha Comment from : @robertlung2222 |
Beautiful coins, especially the SLQ! Definitely a full head in my opinion I would leave the coins in the ICG holders Their holders are getting more common, and seem to be more accepted now I have been using them more lately for my IHC'S They seem to be the only grader that hasn't caught the questionable color disease! Comment from : @taylorism5613 |
First let me say that they're all beautiful coins but imo(humble as it is) I'd say it will be next ti impossible to get that $10 gold lib into a ms65 holder - once again my humble opinion - if you do definitely share that piece of information as that's a very tough grade to get - I've got one in a ms63 holder from NGC same year and date and I was just thinking how similar they look haha - gl stay safe! Comment from : @andrewhart6200 |
I would keep them in the holders as all are beautiful coins :) Comment from : @40belowful |
I'm not a professional but I think it's a ms65 fh honestly the SLQ Comment from : @Socialyote7524 |
You have an excellent group for a pcgs cross over All look accurately graded in video I would buy the standing liberty quarter as is, no questions asked You can always crack them if they dont cross Comment from : @sethwilliams3630 |
The $10 liberty has a high chance for failure I likes its odds at a 64, but a 65 I just dont see it happening Foot note $10 gold isn't my lane and I have been wrong once before!!! Like you said though its not my money so CRACK THEM ALL!!!!!! Comment from : @coreynagle804 |
Ben: "Should I crack these out and regrade them?" brbrEverybody: "Get the dice and Shake 'em up, shake 'em up, shake 'em up, shake 'em!" Comment from : @DogKama |
I think you mean SLQ in the video title, not Walking Liberty :) Comment from : @jamesgoss1860 |
Is it just me or is the 6 on the Morgan's date look a bit off lile it's set higher than the other numbers on the date Comment from : @JR-gw3by |
Myself I would keep Because you run a business I can understand your reason for trying to get better grade I do like you don't slam ICG like those two oversized corporations Comment from : @dalestoner2928 |
In my limited experience with ICG, I'm not impressed I briefly owned an AU50 coin in an ICG slab, but found it to be very flat and dull (overdipped) and overgraded AU50 is an iffy grade to begin with, so lesson learned I returned it and bought the same year/mint in XF45 (PCGS) which had much better eye appeal at a fraction of the price Conclusion, I don't trust ICG when it comes to conditional rarity Comment from : @jamesgoss1860 |
I would cross all four Nice coins dude Comment from : @garethbates5044 |
I think the SLQ, the Morgan, and the $5 Indian are accurately graded by ICG, so I would either leave them alone or send them to PCGS for a possible crossover brbrI think the MS65 on the $10 Liberty is generous because of the volume of contact marks on the reverse I think I would leave that one as-is and see about selling it for discounted MS-65 money Comment from : @JohnD357 |
Go for it! However, I think the 1886-o could be a slider Happy New Year! Comment from : @elee950021 |
submit the 25 centthe rest seem fairly graded Comment from : @rogermueller9143 |
Nice coins I would leave them and sell them as is Good luck either way! 😎 Comment from : @Ontario100 |
That standing liberty is for sure a Full Head It's beautiful I think the Morgan dollar might be an iffy prospect The gold Indian sure is pretty That may be worth sending for cross over That ten dollar gold has some really nice fields I haven't seen as many of those as you have I'm sure but I'd think the ten dollar gold and the standing liberty are the best of the lot and I'd think both stand a chance of an upgrade Comment from : @TheQuickSilver101 |
I would send the quarter and the two gold coins to pcgs Comment from : @jeffshaw4039 |
10 liberty looks like scratch on chin, so keep in ICG holder and sell it Comment from : @mint-state7901 |
Now be nice to graders lol That certification test is not easy Comment from : @williamfindspeople4341 |
I vote for no more crack! Send them to PCGS for crossover with the current grades as the minimum to cross Comment from : @rgives1870 |
Great coins I’ll pay you face value and nothing more Comment from : @superiordeftrex4196 |
Crack 'em out You know you want to Comment from : @stevedietrich8936 |
I'm not good at grading but I do feel like that SLQ Could grade higher Comment from : @collectivechris609 |
Idk if that’s a scratch on standing liberty or the holder In between the T & Y in Liberty Comment from : @orlandotheman8245 |
I have a 1956 quarter Ms65 it has die cracks on the left wing should I crack it out? What do you think? Comment from : @craigerickson7973 |
Have had an intervention regarding your crack habit? Comment from : @GardenerEarthGuy |
