I bought a Butterfly Labs Jalepeno, thinking that it’d be relatively easy to set up Unfortunately, as I’m only 12, it is starting to seem a bit beyond me Does anyone know why Easy Miner won’t recognise it, saying: “Could not create the view…” Is there a driver or something that I need? Can anyone help me get it up and running?

So this whole bitcoin mining thing is really kicking off huh? Do you have to have this thing to generate bitcoins or can you get a program to do it Along with that what does this small box do exactly (if you need an external thing to mine bitcoins[aka the box] than i guess that nullifies that question) Does bitcoin mining mess with your computer at all ie lower performance, lower life span of comp? Sorry for all the questions, it just seems like something i could do, yet know very little about, while you know plenty more than me (by far) :I
