I think Low down payment mortgages is not smart because the other 19 will cost you big time It will be better to wait and buy when you have a proper down payment example house cost $250k You put down 1 that is $2,500 so your loan will be for $247,500 instead of $200,000 That difference will cost you $70,220 or an extra $327/mo A smart thing to is do a sidegig to make an extra $10k-50k a year to put towards your down payment Not hard to do! That would be smarter!

Additional info for OnePlus program: maximum grant amount is for $7000 meaning the loan max amount can only be for $350,000

When did PMI on an FHA loan become permanent? I bought my house in 2010 VIA FHA and 7 years later I had 20 equity and I had PMI removed I didn't have to refinance
