Easiest layman way to launder money is to buy a few thousand worth of chips at a casino (under 5k, no big balling and low profile) Play a couple hands, grab a drink or two, grab a meal at the restaurant, turn in chips plus/minus however the games go Bam you have legal winnings from gambling with a receipt and it can’t be seized as evidence But I guess you could still be stuck with charges on tax evasion if you did not claim those winnings as income

This one old guy who estimated that a quarter of the cash businesses in our city were affiliated with criminal enterprises on some level or another For context, it was a well known secret that he was the largest launderer in our part of the city He also had a sense of humor, with a large portion of his operations being laundromats and dry cleaners, because you gotta appreciate the little things 😂😂
