Hello, I am researching Cloud Computing boot camps I see some that are expensive and some reasonable Has anyone taken a boot camp and has good recommendations on boot camps for cloud computing for a person with zero tech experience? I need a boot camp that offers internships, and job assistance, and covers the materials from A to Z Some Boot Camps offer 2-3 months, and I doubt that they cover everything needed to land an entry-level job Thank you Comment from : @happybirthdae |

I am really interested in taking a cloud course but my biggest challenge is I don’t have a good education, I dropped out of junior high school because of financial problems I am a very optimistic person and always give my best in everything I set my mind to I don’t even know how to write a CV, however I believe I can take this course and become a pro My question is would companies hire somebody like me who is uneducated and find it difficult to express myself in English? Your answer will be highly appreciated Thank you Lucy Comment from : @Tourwithkojo |

Good day Lucy You're an inspiration! I began my cloud learning journey a few weeks ago after working in Physical science for 3 decades Is it too late for me to transition to a career in cloud computing? Plus I still work full time which adversely affects my cloud learning learning pace What advice do you have for me to navigate my journey? Comment from : @sheriffsalisu8428 |

For folks getting into cloud skills, you probably want to work at a company doing hybrid or planning a migration (so for all the new grads out there or career changers) You might get stuck doing boring helpdesk or other entry-type work, but you will also get a chance to assist in implementing/maintaining cloud systems The knowledge you get from certs is great, but the real world tends to be messy, and figuring out how to apply best practices and clean up a sloppy configuration is important Lastly, while you are studying, try to think of how implementing x thing in a live environment would work (last week I had to cut-over 10 TB of SAN storage to cloud storage for an app that has something like 50k users, a nerve-wracking couple hours there, but thorough testing paid off) Lastly, I wouldn't worry about cloud computing going away, if you are a SMB owner and you need a new server for something it is way easier to add a few hundred $ a month than dropping $30k on new hardware and those SMBs will need someone who knows how to work those systems Comment from : @xcelerate1000 |

Hey Lucy, I would love to have a study plan as a second year IT student! I’ve been following you for a while, and I’ve always liked the idea of getting into the niche of cloud, but like a lot here, the uncertainty is real…will this field still keep growing after few years etc…but you convinced me with duh…Ai goes hand to hand with cloud technology 🤯 Comment from : @Lone93 |
|
Pleaseeee Study plan! and Thank you for all your videos!!! Comment from : @narrymanpina7889 |
|
Hello @techwithLucy,brbrAs always, your content is outstanding! I'd like to offer an additional perspective: It's important for those entering the field to focus on mastering fundamental networking skills before rushing to accumulate certifications Understanding core concepts such as the role of a router, how to build a Local Area Network (LAN), what a Virtual Machine (VM) is, and the distinctions between private and public subnets is crucialbrbrFor those with more experience, a practical challenge could be integrating an EC2 instance into your CI/CD pipeline—for instance, using GitLab CI This kind of hands-on application reinforces both foundational and advanced skills Comment from : @TechWithMambou |
