@iamthe1337est Sorry, I just read what I wrote I made a typo What I meant was South Africa doesn't have the Queen as Head of State in the Commonwealth- as the other countries you listed South Africa choses to a be an independent nation, but also has chosen to be a member of the Commonwealth The Royal family has nothing to do with it

@romangeneralbob ContI'm not a big Royalist, but I do currently favour the constitutional monarchy/Parliamentary system we have as it seems to work OK- despite the fact that it's a bit weird However changing the system to a republic, as in the US or France, comes with a whole set of different problems that we don't have right now But you'll find very different opinions on this from British people My view is based on my view of practicality, for some it's different (both for and against)

@romangeneralbob Well, we don't have a King & Queen We have a single Monarch as the Head of State Currently that's Queen Elizabeth, Prince Phillip is not a 'King' Brits are generally divided Some very much for and some very much against, but with a lot of people in between who aren't really overly bothered either way However, if there were a referendum tomorrow I suspect the overall public would favour keeping a constitutional monarchy as a Parliamentary democracy
