I am a PharmD graduate from University of Benin (UNIBEN) Nigeria I am glad i did it because i spent straight 6 years To convert from BPharm (5 years) to PHarmD, it will take 3 years They are trying to make it 2 years At a point there was a special PharmD conversion program in UNIBEN but it required one to be a clinical Pharmacist (after practicing in a known number of years in a clinical setting) and of course more money will be spentbrbrLet me add that the remuneration for a PharmD Pharmacist in some settings is higher than that of a BPharm Pharmacist

When I say "run from Bpharm," I'm referring to people who have not yet applied to pharmacy school but are interested in studying pharmacy, because you still have the option to make an informed decision brbrHowever, if you are already pursuing a BPharm degree, complete that first before pursuing a master's degree or a PharmD for pharmacy
