Wow, super special coin, stunning really nice! Great box, and set up for it, however the coin is just amazing! The eagle in flight is just incredible and it is so shiny Love the wording on the rim Makes the regular gold eagle look dull haha

Alpha brThe whole purpose of the coin was because when Teddy Roosevelt commissioned Augusta Saint Gaudens to design the coin he wanted a high relief but the technology of the day wasn't capable of accomplishing what he wanted brSo to commemorate the double eagle they made the high relief version that Roosevelt originally hoped for brI believe that was the first high relief coin ever if I'm not mistaken brI only have one, I can't believe you have three that's awesome brNow I need another one
