My mother in-law runs through Dysons V8-V10-V11-V15 every one of them lasts like a year or 2 before they self destruct Sticky buttons, broken brush head swivels, battery life holds up for maybe a year She just offloaded another 2 vacuum heads and stack of attachments for me to service/repair I never have issues with my sharks I also stay away from cordless vacuums, as much as they’re convenient they come with a lot of inconveniences Dyson doesn’t hold up to the price tag Landfill fodder

Have avoided Dyson as we have carpet & dog hair to deal with & our Shark corded vac does a great job Was given a V7, needed a new battery & we use it regularly in our tiled areas & it’s still ok, so,when we saw a Dyson Gen5 on sale for less than the Shark Vortex (our first choice) couldn’t resist Picked up as much as would normally see in the Shark canister but after vacuuming went over the same carpet with the Shark Got a little carpet fluff from the wool carpet, and a tiny bit on dog hair, realistically an insignificant amount Surprised how well the Dyson performed & quite happy The Dysons prices are crazy in Australia, but if the right, I think it’s a good buy

These videos are really entertaining for a tech nerd like me that likes seeing numbers I recently bought a Hoover Emerge for my parents as a christmas present because it was on sale for half price and I can't find any reviews for the specific version I bought It just says Hoover Emerge and nothing after that

Thanks for all the great reviews! What would the best low-mid or mid tier priced vacuum be that has a sealed canister, motorized brush roll attachment, and great on hard floors? The Tineco looked good until the hardwood test And it seems like lots of Shark vacuums can’t fit the motorized brush roll attachment they make Thanks!

Loved my Dyson , however the battery only lasted 18 months , also considering I only vacuum about once a month that's basically 18 to 20 full charges The replacement battery was over $200 dollars for a $400 dollar vacuum Would love to see reviews for cordless that include battery life and replacement cost as an element

I must confess that I kinda got distracted by the speakers I kept seeing in the background after some pausing and searching, I managed to figure out those are B&W CM5's and a B&W Nautilus HTM2's, correct? Remembing that B&W used to have the distinct-looking yellow kevlar drivers helped as they don't seem to use them any longer in their current productsbrbrAnyway, I did manage to finish the video despite getting side-tracked, so thanks!

So im looking at your mid to high range listed I currently own the Tineco A11 Pet since i have 3 dogs Its been a good vacuum, but It does not pick up larger items like hard dog food, etc on our hard floors Just seems to push it around which stinks Of the two Sharks and Hoover, which would you recommend? Maybe 10 years ago I bought a Bissell It worked well but we had a big house and several animals so the vacuum got a workout I did a lot of maintenance and replaced filters, belts, beater bars regularly It gradually got to the point that I couldn't get replacement parts anymore I did research and found people saying that Shark was better regarding replacement parts so I bought a Shark 4 years later I haven't had to replace any parts yet so I don't know how the parts situation really is I'm investigating buying a cordless Shark now, the biggest hassle I have while vacuuming is dealing with the cord!

We've have the Shark you tested for 4-5 years Besides a possible dead cell or 2 in the battery it's perfectly reliable BUT the strips on the brush roll have become tattered and Shark doesn't offer a replacement on their website ✌️

one thing i dont like most stick vacuums usualy canister are usually small but they are good at getting areas a regular vacuum cant reach

I had a Dyson it broke a few times (over 4 years) but Dyson always fixed or replaced the vacuum under there warranty and it was always a good experience
