in the first exercise , do i need to make sure that im not touching the strings below ? also in one tutorial the teacher said that we have to angle our finger such that the nail faces our torso rather than the ceiling , but for me it's much harder to avoid touching the strings using that , so is the angling of finger necessary? Comment from : @verinice-kn9vl |
What exercise wud u advice to master fret change ? Comment from : @__efootball |

Thanks for teaching me do you have a video about how to accurately hit a string with pick like most rockers do? Comment from : @giankulot5823 |

Do it on an accoustuc Comment from : @alanoneill3065 |
As an absolute beginner the first 2 points were slow and easy But the major scale and onwards was so fast I had to watch this a few times and pause every 2 seconds to see the finger positions This video would be perfect if I had already memorized the string names or what keys are you saying play G but idk what that means So I again I end up pausing every time to catch up and try to understand what I even need Comment from : @LeBunBuns |
First exceesise is great BUT use a down/up/down/up picking and try to keep string fingers as close to the strings as possible! Rock on! Comment from : @jameszampetti36 |
Yea don’t listen to this guy he not even doin the spider walk right lol to properly teach finger dexterity you need to make sure only one finger is coming off the fret board at a time Comment from : @EaynGautreaux |

Absolutley NO evidence warming up on guitar does anything at all It's not working out in the gym This warm up BS is a myth propagated by people who think it does something and you will never tell them otherwise There are people out there bent on the idea that drinking their own urine is healthy and you will never convince them otherwise with actual facts and proven data When I see BS, the first thing I do, is leave Comment from : @opieshomeshop |
👍 Comment from : @pornontawat7724 |
You should mention that when you practice majors, when going up, you should keep previous fingers on the same string as long as possible This helps to learn play faster by making as least moves with your fingers as possible You even use it but not mention it :) Comment from : @TheDrunkenPL |
wonderful! this makes playing so much easier! Comment from : @guitarwithstormy |

Thank you for the video!! I do these exercises daily, but since I heard not to learn something wrong, I try to do them slower and betterbrbr I struggle not to touch the strings below the one I want to play I think I bend my hand enough, but for example, while playing something, I test and play the string below, and on these exercises, most often, they don't sound Comment from : @imantssuetcue |

For a total beginner this is all double Dutch as this isn’t info a beginner would understand and too fast to catch what you’re doing! Comment from : @WhiteLotusOm |
I love how you say to place your thumb behind the neck and the you show progressions with your thumb on the side of the neck Teach or don't Or quit YouTube Comment from : @brianreynolds7093 |
Nice lesson! I like to break my guitar practice into 4 pillars: exercises that build strength and dexterity, theory-based practice, learning songs/solos, and playing with someone or backing tracks It keeps my sessions balanced and fun while covering all the essentials! Comment from : @guitartrainerio |
Please elaborate a bit on exercise 3, I don't think I'm understanding the scaling here 😐 Comment from : @darkkooper1 |

I think this video is not only for beginners but also for seasoned players as going back to the basics of positioning and the fboard is pretty much the holy grail 90 of new guitarists stop at abour three months due to the fact they want to get into complex shit watching all glorified famous ytubers that they get hugely disappointed due to the fact they havent learn the basics first Theres a reason guitar companies give more focus to 200-300 euros 'beginners' labeled guitars nowdays brGreat video keep em coming Comment from : @Übereine |
I've only been playing a few days and your videos have been so helpful You've earned a sub man, cheers Comment from : @lewismx8815 |

I also like to add dynamics when doing finger exercises Getting louder and softer while ascending and descending Comment from : @lonestarpatriot876 |

Yo! Trey!
