The Europa Series design looks good and has solid security features Currently I don't see the need to update them Probably they got envious on the swiss franc's ninth banknotes series which look fantastic

Nothing wrong with the “Ages & Styles” theme, IMHO Not only has it been nicely implemented (on both the Windows rectos and Bridges versos), but it was also a smart choice since it helped to avoid endless discussions about widely acceptable motives brbrSo if the ECB really feels like wasting money, they can just give this theme a refresh

didnt the euro more or less recently just complete their LAST redesign? it was a pain enough needing to deal with machines and stuff that didnt accept the new money, is this really needed?bralso I really liked the old idea not trying to include anyone specifically but rather to NOT include anyone/thing specifically (I mean the US has important people on the banknote, the UK has the queen and all, while the euro notes have a generally neutral design showing architecural evolution in time (tho I miss the 500€ bill with the more modern design even if you dont see it that often)brlike generally the bills were made to not be any specific building in any country so that there wouldnt be any disputes about which country should get which values and all that (although there have been places that have been built to look like the Euro bill buildings)

The notes are both colour- and size coded so I find them easy to use I don't pay much attention to the print theme tbh A new theme could be trees for the climate change
