Just went to my local branch to access my safety deposit box and the branch is closed due to the covid 19 Theres a number on the door saying to call it to set a appointment to access the box and nobody ever answers Believe when they say they are unreliable especially during these times with covid 19

There is no such thing as a "fireproof" safe Safes are rated to protect contents only for x amount of time at x amount of heat To get the top rated fire resistant safes which also offer burglar and break-in protection you would have to spend thousands of dollars Probably not practical Better idea: Get a safe for replaceable items Keep certain items in several different bank safe deposit vaults This way, just as in investing money, you diversify your valuables into different safes This greatly diminishes the chance of theft, fire, or damage from natural disasters

What a stupid video People make money for no information Are there no benefits of a safety deposit box? Who needs something "right away"? Is piece of mind worth anything? She mentions failing, why not examples of the last time a bank failed and kept safety deposit box contents? Instead of limited access, how about the ability to provide access to multiple people whom you might not want to access your house?
