I love and adore my Ralph Lauren bag that I got on sale at Dillards nearly 8 years ago now! It still as perfect as the day I started using it And I use it nearly every day, I will switch to a different bag thinking I want a new style But they fail in comparison to my RL! It was $100 and the best purchase I have ever made Its black leather with red inside, snap closure I love Ralph Lauren so why dont you do a video on that brand?

Great video !! And good advice to think of when purchasing at any price point! I personally avoid chain straps and also handles that stick up as mentioned - as well as bulky over the shoulder bags, or using crossbody as an evening bag That eliminates a lot, but makes purchasing so much easier!! 😆So I have a clutch or two, a small modest crossbody and a few totes I concentrate on the leather I like and avoid impulse buys as much as poss 🤓

My favorite crossbody are Chanel minis I have mines for years and they are my go to always Babe the Chanel classic claps were never designed to crossbody they are shoulder feminine classic bags, so I don’t get why ppl keep trying to wear a bag that is not meant for crossbody as one 🤦🏼‍♀️ I am petite and I wear my small classics only if is an emergency but only for a moment, other wise I wear the minis as crossbody ones 😊

i had an Hermes Constance 21 and I felt like I fought with it every time I wore it You cant set ithe bag down because it flops forward and it takes two hands to open and close and the H clasp svcatches easily IMO I'm not sure if the Constance 18 is any better- I would love input:)

The layout of the Coussin is so cumbersome, and it does not seem to add to the style I just do not get the concept with it I am a fan of the Reverse Pochette Metis for inclement weather days or active days, but the strap can be a bit annoying with the stiffness of it The tips you gave are great

Love this bc I have all the "NOs" except the Dior Saddle and these are VERY valid points ya'll I still love and use ALL of of them the but for CROSSBODY function Steph is right! (although my empreinte Metis works great for me) Really consider the functionality if that's what you are in need of I also have 3 of the "YES" bags listed and they truly are so useful for everyday crossbody options 🥰

I'd recommend the TOM FORD Tara bag! It has a wide, webbed strap that ensures there will be no shoulder discomfort when wearing it for too long (as opposed to those bags with skinny leather straps)
