I had one but it did stick to a magnet But it wasn't filed down and I couldn't it figure out Finally I figured out that it was just so rusty that it looked copper cause it was pretty jacked up anyway, I could barely tell that it was 1943

History class :D : so basically another way it makes them rare is they are copper Why u might ask? Because when it was 1943 we got a little more involved with ww2 so the military needed the copper incase of war Only about 40 struck If u have this coin i would clean it and keep it
