With the demise of the TOGO unlimited plans from AT&T what is the latest update? We are unfortunetly tied to AT&T for wireless internet at our home None of the other carriers works where we live and there is no other internet provider, cable or DSL, that services our area TOGO worked out great since when we took the motorhome out our internet went with but now that AT&T is dropping the unlimited plan what is left? I've checked into geting AT&T's unlimited tablet data plan seen on your website here wwwrvmobileinternetcom/gear/att-dataconnect-tablet/ and it doesn't seem to be available for non iPad devices even though it lists it as available If I were to activate it with a sim card and an IMEI ID from a iPad could that sim card work in a different device? I have a question that I've been unable to find a definitive answer for:brI live in North Central Washington right on the US/Canadian border There are no US cell towers and no local IP I do have a Canadian tower right across the hill that provides 4-5 bars Currently, I have AT&T's Unlimited Ultra that provides for access to Canadian towers, but the tethering/hotspot is limited to 15gb a month Their new Unlimited Elite plan coming out later this month is supposed to offer 30GB tethering I really need something in the realm of 50gb+ for my home, so one of the Hotspot devices is what I need such as the AT&T 100gb for $100 option you covered in this video From my research I find that none of these plans allows for pulling from a Canadian tower I did find a couple of forum posts that stated that actually you can pull from Canadian towers within 1-3 miles of the border ("it just works"), but I have not found any proof of this, and a call to AT&T says no Last month AT&T signed a huge agreement with Canadian cellular companies to allow cross access of their towers with no restrictions (other than your plan)for corporate and emergency services I read that consumer access through this agreement may be coming in the future Can you look into this and report out to us? I am sure that there are many US citizens along the border that can only pull from Canadian towers and vice-versa Therefore it would be in US and Canadian cellular companies to provide a solution Also, any suggestions for an existing option/solution would be great Otherwise, fingers crossed for Starlink!brThanks Comment from : galadhlinn |

Excuse me if this is super basic, but outside of just using the phone as a phone, I watch some YouTube videos for information purposes (vs entertainment) & some webinars How would I go about measuring or knowing how much data I would use on the road, so I can determine which HotSpot plan to consider? Just bought our RV with intentions to go on the road starting in Jan/Feb timeframe, and don't know what our needs will be Would it better to hit the road and see what happens (or doesn't happen)? I personally would recommend to stay far away from visible Ping times seemed to be terrible( this isn't just that 100+ms ping there are huge ping spikes) data speed just dont seem to be that great especially when downloading larger files Just not that great of a experience Comment from : MadBird |

You should look into 2 plans offered through Family Motor Coach Association (FMCA) These are through both Verizon and Sprint It does require membership, but since these are both unlimited data plans, plus the other benefits you get through membership, joining is more than worth joining Check out the plans at wwwfmcacom/rv-wifi Comment from : Norris K |
