I like ITM put spreads, but I worry about early assignment If I sell a put spread that is 6 months out, do I have to worry about getting exercised? My thinking is that there is too much extrinsic value on the put for anyone to exercise, and if they did, I could sell the long leg and the shares and make a small profit anyways Am I thinking about this correct?

When selling a deep ITM put credit spreadas expiration approaches, you can roll you position further out until it falls OTM, right? brYou just need to manage your position more closely

At what point would you want to Sell a call, or sell a Put ITM? I see it as a bearish/ bullish strategy because i was doing that to dump stock; to get rid of stock that Avg dipped around -22 I'm doing them straight up Naked, well a covered call technically aint naked Can you explain the Advantages to selling ITM and good examples when to use the strategy?! Hello, a few months ago I started selling options, I have a question I sell very long-term options, for example I sell naked PUTs at Jan20'23 (The ones with the longest expiration to date), however it seems to me that here I enter a great risk of which I am not sure, assuming that my forecast was wrong and the Stock has a large price drop and if my strike or execution price is reached, as the expiration is so far away, the broker could not execute the option and leave me with the contract even if its price continues to fall, so although "I do not lose" As long as I do not close my operation, I would be exposing a large amount of money as margin and with each dollar that the stock falls, my margin would be greater and greater For example, a stock that is currently worth $ 100 and sold PUT 50 Jan20'23 @ 100, suppose the stock falls to $ 50 and would have a "loss" rather a retained margin of about $ 5,000 approx and if it falls to less than $ 40 it should be executed but surely the broker would not do it due to the distance of the option expiration date, increasing my collateral or margin to more than $ 6,000 And if I do not have enough money to cover this margin, the broker could close my position and I would lose a lot of money I am right?
