the avalon is a joke mine got to 150K miles and totally fell apart whole steering and suspensions system, needing almost 6K of work not counting fading paint high pressure brake hoses, rack and pinion, all 4 struts at 800 per corner, control arms, ball joints, all four door handles broken and 3 of 4 windows not working, defroster blows in the dash not on the windows, etc stay away its a piece of junk

I own a 2011 Acura TL and currently I'm at 393k miles This car is a beast, it was been nothing but a great car overall I have serviced the car myself, oil changes, spark plugs, breaks, shocks and once the timing belt at 225k miles Funny i bought a replacement engine 2yrs ago and it's just sitting there waiting for the original to give up lol

I had '98 Nissan 200sx that lasted 330,000 miles before the transmission failed only because I never serviced it I now have a '02 Mitsubishi Lancer that's currently at 288,000 miles with the most major repair being piston ring replacement and oil leak repairs They just don't build cars the way they used to

I'm still driving my 2004 red Honda Accord EX It's got 225k miles on it One owner I bought it brand new off the lot with 80 miles on it Sticker price was $28k, I paid $20,850brbrI'm finally shopping for a new Honda Accord because the front passenger door doesn't open from the inside anymore, only the driver's side window works, the rear lights on the back of the car all stopped working, the sound system dashboard isn't visible anymore, the electronic key fob no longer works, and there's electrical issues throughout the car But it's got 4 tires and starts most of the time 😋 I estimate that I've saved AT LEAST $150k by running that car into the ground, and not buying a new onebrbrI think it's time to retire the beauty I guess I got my money's worth 😂
