I've come across an interesting 20c It is 2001 coin, on the left hand side of back side, you see the platypus paw with claws inside the wave, on this coin underneath the paw outside the wave is 3 raised lines that look like claws I've looked under magnifying glass and I am sure it is extra material rather than damage
