This video was actually made the day after the launch of the RMAH and was more of a look at the psych factors behind the purchases going on This was before gold inflation was a serious issue (at least not impacting the RMAH at all) You are pretty spot on for whats going on at the moment though However, i counter that prices in RMAH are going down overall and this is independent of gold prices It's simply a function of demand Comment from : @ZiggyDGaming

i think the best blizzard do is put an option for the item being sale in the RMAH give the players option if they want the item to be in RMAH and blizzard will automatically price the item accordingly Comment from : @TheEduard888

Most people search for round numbers like $10 If you price your item at $1043 your item will not show up in their list Even if they were willing to spend that extra 43c they would not buy your item because they simply wouldn't see it Hope that explains it! Comment from : @ZiggyDGaming

This might work for some reason, but you can check if someone has already bid on an item you are looking at by clicking bid on the item, if the number in that box is HIGHER than the bid set for the item, that DOES mean someone has bid on it However, if when you click the bid button, the value it the SAME in the box as to the bid, it means nobody has bid on it Comment from : @Bizzleberry

That is, even numbers like 600, and what not - clearly those items aren't being bid on But if someone scans through a list of items and sees 534 or something similarly uneven, they might assume this is a 'hot' item, and bid on it Seem reasonable?
