Mortgage rates are currently at an all time high since 2000(24 years) and based on statistics on inflation, we might see that number skyrocket further, a 30-year fixed rate was only 5 this time last year, so do I just keep waiting for a housing crash before buying or redirect my focus to the equity market

Covid turned me off on real estate When politicians said you can stop paying your rent for now, my first thought was what about the property owner? Does he/she get to stop maintaining the property? If there’s a mortgage, does the owner get to stop making mortgage payments? NO I’m shoveling money into my 401K We will NEVER be able to buy stocks this cheap again When we come out of this recession our 401K’s will make tremendous gains
