I have bought penny roll lots just to fill the books and in a year's time have a few keepers I save my cheapest doubles and will sell those by the roll on ebay Buffalo's are hard to find these days with readable date I've been to the bank and that's limited too😮 now I buy individual dates one at time if need bejust to fill the books😊

I recently bought 20 rolls of LWC from a guy that owns an auction house about 30 minutes away from me Well let's just say it was a waste of $80 He claimed that it was from a hoarder well I have found a lot better wheats in bank rolls

I used to work as a cashier at a convenience store, and you would not believe the number of silver coins I've counted I always kept a pocket full of change in my car, so I'd take the silver and replace it with the currency the customer thought it was It's not stealing, it was going to the bank anyways as a nickle or dime, but I knew they were worth more Also got a lot of Canadian pennies, they look way too much like ours

My dad left me and my daughter a collection of coins I’ve recently started to attempt to learn about them but there is a lot to it I was tempted to buy estate lots off of EBay but was very skeptical It didn’t seem logical to me how they were selling the lots Your video has helped me understand there are scams and to listen to my gut Thank you!!

In the sports “hobby” there are re-packed baseball cards which they consider unopened or unsearched because they packed them and they weren’t searched afterwards brbrThe chance of hitting big is slim to none however they usually put “hits” in to generate some kind of value brbrSo I guess the logic with these coins is if they rolled them they are technically unsearched, 🤷‍♂️

Coming from the trading card hobby, i knew as soon as i saw that "unsearched" rolls are scams They add a bait coin to get your hopes up and play with your psychology Unfortunately until ebay does something these scammers will still be out there

I finally got a guy at one of the two big coin companies after calling and talking with him to open up to me He said chances are better for me to get struck by lightning 3 times in a row than finding a coin in any roll (bank or private) that’s worth over 30000 He said coin people are some of the best scammers out there because they know people like myself just getting into the treasure hunt are so easily fooled & are best prey He warned me be careful, don’t buy nothing not graded He said just don’t watch tic toc coins guys, that they want the views, he said he watched a guy vids and in 1 day he added up what he said they sold & the company worked for didn’t auction off in six mo the what that guy said sold in one day He said mint abs coin checkers are AI operated now and chances of a coin getting by the robot are slim to none, only what’s already out there is it so be careful

I know this is an older video, but even 2000-P Sacagawea rolls are starting to be BS since they go for generally 2 1/2 times over face Now I can only buy them when they have packaging that can only come from the mint, or if it’s an older seller who doesn’t have other coins listed!

I have contacted some coin "dealers" who should know better, they are not It all comes down to making money anyway they can and it is very sad Why should young people be interested in coin collecting when they constantly see liars and those that diminish this wonderful hobby? I bought a bag of unsearched wheat pennies from a coin dealer friend and it was absolutely unsearched There were 2 1909S and 1 -1909 A 1936 with a Clipped Planchet It also had Canadian pennies from 1940 - 1958 the 1947 Blunt 7 was in there and the 1955 No shoulder fold I think that was great @ 4 cents each , the whole bag was $15
