I've got a new MCX It has had two failures over the course of about three thousand rounds, it had a light primer strike both in the same magazine of PMC ammo I've just never used PMC since and have had zero issues since!

I bought a 16 BCM upper with cold hammer forged barrel It came with their BCG for like 800 Paired the upper with Radian Charge handle Awesome shooter Not a fan of their MK2 uppers because of potential compatibility issues with handguards and lowers

Can someone tell me what it means to build an AR? So you go to a maker like BCM, you buy an upper, a lower, and a stock, and you put it together yourself? Are there any other necessary parts? I assume it has to ship to an FFL first, and would a gunsmith be required to pin and weld parts together?

Slg tread has gone through 600 rounds wet, not cleaned Best stainless steel, used on barrrel,all ambi, trigger CMC, CHARGER, RANDOM, SIG RED DOT, VERT GRIP, TAC 6 CASE, 1450 TOTAL GUN 860OO THE REST by OVER 50000 I THINK YOU CANT GET MUCH MORE, LESS THAN 2 GRAND! The parts are stellar, don't know of better trigger,charger or red dot, expensive ,but reliable with best everything on it now

I just purchased a BCM upper Having lived in Wisconsin my entire life, I just had to support a local company Currently I have it on a much older Colt lower receiver I had ordered an Aero Precision lower directly from Aero not realizing that Aero Precision has some major problems right now I don't recommend buying anything directly from them The reason for going with Aero to begin with is that right now BCM lowers or complete rifles are non existent I had to sic my bank on Aero Precision to try to get my order I'm not sure if I will ever get it and right now don't really want it anymore Does anyone have a different lower receiver brand that they can recommend? Preferably under a $500 price tag

I’m running a Colt LE6920 with an ACOG/RMR with very few mods I just ran it at Thunder Ranch urban rifle class, shooting a 1000 rounds in 3 days and it was flawless I saw other, more expensive guns go down running that course Some to the point of being completely out of the game Off to the gunsmith

On disassembly, it’s a giant PITA removing and replacing a MCMR handguard Get ready to mortar I did change my 16” MK2 to an SA bleed off, and I wish BCM offered that as a build option for complete uppers, and I wouldn’t feel the need to build one myself
