The mint still makes junk silver proof coins that can be purchased at lower premiums than pre 65 junk But since it has modern dates they are less “recognizable” than the old stuffbrbrBut it’s alright for fractional comparatively rn, with premiums so high

I dont get it I looked at halves and quarters junk The silver content is based on new coins Many I have seen have a lot of ware on them and really contain much less actual silver than what they did when new So you aren't getting what you are paying for unless you can find some with very little ware its better to buy rounds or coins that actually weigh 1oz
