I agree with every points you argued in this video except on your personal suggestion I believe team escape should be more of a challenge and only made available for cars from class B and lower It is way too easy for players using class A and class S cars to avoid and outrun the cops The faster your car is the more it is suited best for racing only as they usually include the most fragile and light cars

I actually enjoy the game a lot, I am level 59 already and have plenty of cars I never had much issues, only one being that it is a bit unstable and the game crashes sometimes But it is not that often to ruin the experience Only thing that ruins it is the engine sound of the BMW M3 GTR It is my favorite car and I would love to hear the actual sound from Most Wanted

The problem with Powerups is they are broadcast by Jabber protocol and somehow are tied to your ID as those are supposed to go off in realtime, it gets slower, the more players are on the server It's a matter of bandwidth issue

I reaaalllly want to try this game but I'm afraid there's too few players online at any given time I looked at the steam group and only saw 399 members, 56 online and only 3 of those 56 were actually playing Soapbox I wish we could get something like Steamcharts for the game

Team Escape - All In was OK for E class cars that had reasonable handling (Silvia, 200 SX, ), since they can dodge the Rhinos, once the Rhino patterns are memorized I haven't tried Soapbox yet, so I don't know what the time limits were set to When High Stakes was first released for the original version of World, it was one of the best events to get good performance parts from lucky draw, but EA lowered the drop rate to get players to gamble for parts with real money (card packs) Power ups - since power ups aren't a source of revenue anymore, there's no need to require a server handshake in order to use power ups This would eliminate lag issues with power ups, but making this change would be difficult

I agree with you on the last point Not just on team escape but also the other class-restricted events and class balance Back before the shutdown you only get to race players who are the same rank as you This makes the races fair and balanced and keep me engaged and competitive about who truly is the better racer brbrI had a maxed out A class R8 with accelerations that compete against S-class but deplorable handling but I managed to race with it on even winding tracks because I've tuned it for handling based on various colors each part has and just some "skillful?" use of of the brakes Now I am mostly just paired with top S class racers and the gameplay never stuck with me I do wish class balance comes back or there is no reason to use an of the lower class carsbrbrI often leave the game on haitus to go play other games but this is the only thing that had kept bringing me back THe fact that I could compete with players on my maxed R8 I earned without paying money and racing with the best cars made me want to keep playing even when I thought I had moved on to better games Soapbox has yet to give me that feeling back

u need to realise how much this project costs, it was supported by ea a multi million dollar company and they had enough resources to keep the servers fast and running, the new developers obviously know when problmes come up and get thousands of identical bug report whiles working on fixing them, chill a bit

I know I am a bit late to this video and I would agree with you on most other than one thing no matter how hard you try the community has always been to competitive and probably will never change when it comes to that but I agree the races shouldn't be open and the admins should be ready for any type of feed back and instead of taking it as an offense taking it as trying to bring the server back to it's glory days but with that being said I am very happy to see that it has returned thank you for your feed back and the video

There is so little amount of good videos about SBRW, or NFS World at all after game's official server shutdownbrbrAbout issues (there is my opinion and i can be wrong):br- Main problem with the revival of game - source code or official sdk tools are just doesn't exist, atleast publicially All server code is written from scratch, using mad skillz of SBRW devs and all kind of infos that game is able to providebr- About Apex "staff slow reaction" or server issues It's not my deal as i'm not the Apex admin anymore, but Leo (Apex owner) do his best to maintain and improve SBRWbr- Toxic community Huh Community of that game has been always "not so kind" to another players, and it will be We should deal with it, and as server owner, do everything to make a "friendly" place for anyone Banning people is always hard choice, anywaybr- The player syncronization Well, my server uses a private build of race-sync, so it's a lot better than, for example, World Online PL But it's not ideal Since SBRW have only a two guys, who able to develop it To be honest, on 2017, racing with more than 2 players were a dream, now - it's just a featurebr- Team Escape's class restrictions? As an old player of Chicane-EU(RO) server (it got shut down) and now FR&RUS server I must say these suggestions are very good indeed Why they fix the issues a whole week or month after ? back in the nfs world days, I've played it once And when you start typing in the chatbox, your car will decelerate and stop, so I didn't use the chatbox and just focus on the race they called me a cheater, and some other stuffs Yup, the community for the game back in the day

As a player in the World Online (PL) server I can easily relate to all of the points said in the video Only like a quarter of races have a decent enough sync, TE distance bug is, I think, caused by these desyncs, and the car class suggestions for TEs do seem fine
