Back before I got LASIK, I had switched back to glasses from contacts because A) I had bad allergies and B) I got tired of the hassle But I missed being able to wear non prescription sunglasses, as well as other considerations such as not being able to wear glasses in the shower and other places, so that's why I ultimately decided the surgery was worth it for me

Why can't I wear contacts anymore? 4 hours after wearing them my eyes are red, my vision blurs and I can feel the edges of the lens scraping the inside of lids I've tried many types and brands and non work

I have myopia and astigmatism Have worn contacts for a day and already noticed some pros and cons to both With glasses I have better and clearer vision but if I am moving around quite a bit I can feel a little disorientated With contacts I feel normal when moving around but my eyesight isn’t as good and can get a bit of a haze around words when reading Currently have the soft toric daily lenses, may try the hard lenses and see if I notice a difference

I got tired of having glasses on my face, not as a looks thing, I actually had to get used to seeing myself without them on and it looked weird! But between that and a desire to wear whatever sunglasses I wanted, as the transition lenses no longer went dark enough in the car, as someone who couldn’t even hold my eyes open for eye drops, I decided wear contacts It’s been worth the several month long battle with my blink reflex that I had at the beginning though I was definitely someone most wouldn’t have considered a candidate for contacts with the struggle it was though

For me as a nearsighted person, contacts (even specially designed ones) never really worked as well as glasses because I don’t use my glasses up close, but with contacts, I would still be forced to look through my prescription at things closer to me that I would normally be able to see by just looking over my glasses

Contact lens is risky you might get infection in eye because it may not clean and also blocked oxygen slightly in eye So be careful before using contact lens

The thing I hate about glasses is for example,I'm outside and start pouring sweat I gotta pull em off and wipe em down This makes contacts a much better option I also like wearing regular sunglasses Also,I feel contacts are much better for driving With glassesyou have to use a lot more head moment as with contactsI feel it's easier to pick things up without the need of snapping the head around like linda Blair in The Exorcist

Hi everyone , i have had myopia a year ago , not anymore i have high prescriptiom 925 -900 a bit blury vision i wear glasses but would love to try contacts as i do sport and other things that my glasses are sffecting but im scared to try contacts do contacts make vision worse ? I mean sometimes your vision can get a bit better Over some time wearing glasses , im just worried that with contacts my vision will get worse ,, any advice please will be appreciated thanks ❤❤❤

With traditional glasses they always ignore my pupil distance, I had all sort of discomfort and actually refused to wear any glasses and see the world in blur for three years, in those three years my eyes cured my boss eyes and I don't have headache, but in return I had to stick my head very close to read a book and get tired easily, that's all until I tried contact lensesbrSomehow I have wider pupil distance than normal, and bigger base curve than normal(88 or up)

I've worn glasses for about 23 or so years and just went to contact lenses Today is my first full day with them I tried contacts once, before multi-focal lenses were available I had one for close vision and another for long-distance vision, and I just could not get used to that These multi-focal lenses are great so far So far, I prefer the contacts
