Picked up a few rolls of half dollars just for the heck of it Opened them There was 1 roll of just 64 One roll of 64 and a couple of Franklin One roll with 16 64”s , 1 liberty, and a 65 a 67 and a 68 The last roll had 19 liberty and one Morgan Out of about 12 to 16 rolls Somebody had written on the outside of some and for some odd reason cashed them in I haven’t really collected since the 70s or early 80s Reginald is my grandson and this is his tablet thing I’m on But I guess I should look at some of the 70”s halves to see if they’re silver I know when I first seen them I thought they were silver till I got my glasses on A lot of these halves look brand new I was thinking who ever turned them in must have collected them back when But anyway I get change to save for the following Xmas but I hope the bug don’t hit me again I’m to old now and I’ve never been able to sell them Couldn’t bring myself to it Wife and kids will get it I guess But anyway that’s my story of the halves Enjoy collecting and try metal detecting Use to back in the 70”s

cool video even if it is 5 yrs old im new to the coin game but i am amazed at the amount of stuff im finding in change i just started doing this last october so about 5 months i guess but in that time i have found accourding to the 2023 76th addition red book ive discovered about 40k in coins so my ???? to u guys is what is the best way to go about dealing with the grading company pcgs ive heard so many different stories of how much they actually charge to grade is it better to send them individual coins or just go for the hale mary amd drop the whole collection on them at once the reason i ask is because alot of what im finding is in the 5 to 10 dollar range in value although i do have a few that are in the 1000s range and 2 or 3 that accourding to what im seeing here and off of the heritage site posts of past sales are in the 5 to 15 k range once verified threw pc or the other comp AGA or something like thatim really confident in my own research on the coins but i definetly dont want to spend 2 3 4 grand and have the collection comeback worth less than that example say the charged 50 bucks a coin but the coin is only worth 10 or 15 bucks i see this happening all the time and i really dont want to be one of them guys if at all possible so what would be your advise on something like this im open to all imput that u guys might have to share with me cause im very much a novice amd that would be the understatment of the centurysmh

I just recently bought 4 1/2 dollars(Kennedy's) that are suppose to be 40 silver, but none of them have any copper showing along the edgeall 4 of them are silver all the way through dates on them are 1967 - 69 they weigh in from 111 g to 118 g's

Beware the faked wrong plancet coins which have been faked using 90 silver They're counterfeit, and only worth silver content! Most people can't tell the difference, and only get caught when sending them to be graded! I heard this happening on 2 separate occasions, and the dealer was charged with counterfeiting coinage!
