I watched this video last summer and have been doing the drill you teach ever since How many other YouTube videos could say something like that?
Comment from : @KellyTaylor23

@FourKidsNoMoney
Do you recommend doing any hand and finger stretches before? As a guitar player I know that getting your hands loose before playing can help avoid tenseness and straining
Comment from : @FourKidsNoMoney

@Brayguanzo
thanks for this! This is the exact video i was looking forbrits very interesting to me finding other guitar players who have gotten obsessed with sleight of hand this is just my own feeling, but the repetition and the gains over time when it comes to coin and card magic are very similar to guitar practice I find myself loving the practice as much as the performance Its the same thing that made me love guitar
Comment from : @Brayguanzo

@jonahberg9280
Are you a fan of garret thomas effect imagination coins

@JDRichard
How to play guitar and do coin magic amazing
Comment from : @JDRichard

@noswad75
I would think first you'd need to know what sized coin works best for your hand size right? I mean doesn't make sense to try to palm a half dollar if your hand isn't small enough to keep it in place It looks like you're using a Morgan dollar? Which may be too big for some hands to keep sufficiently hidden when moving
Comment from : @noswad75

@willwetherington
Nice guitars, homie
Comment from : @willwetherington

@djjannis1520

@gaviningham
Thanks for this, Rick Fabulous stuff I've been watching you on Copeland Coins and found you here This little practice routine is fabulous I love the practising without trying to do any tricks or anything as, when you're learning, this takes all of the pressure off Have found it interesting what my right hand does relatively easily and the left struggles with Whether that's LvsR or age or what, who knows?
Comment from : @gaviningham

@randallharter
I have been looking for drills that will improve my dexterity for coin magic! Thank you so much for this and all your videos I’ve been consuming them all one after the other Rick
Comment from : @randallharter

@hhampton
I really like your tutorials But, may I make a suggestion?brbrIn addition to the spectators's view could you also show the moves from the performer's view? It is hard to flip left for right and also try to simultaneously try to imagine what it will look like from my viewpoint

Hello Rick, I am just buzzing through your videos (Very addictive) I can relate to the instrument workout, I play the drums and had to do roles, doubles, paradiddles, and triples as a workout When I was in middle school I started walking around with a half dollar palmed I still always have a coin in my hand and now I even wear one on my finger Keep these videos coming and I love Recoil by the way I am putting it into my routine this weekend

Beautiful and worthwhile instruction Rick Do you have any tips on increasing the friction of your hands or the coins? Often the two surfaces are too smooth to get good control, especially on the more precarious palms

Comment from : @shaycormac9968

@JosephTosey
I’m trying this with a Canadian toonie, which is mostly a smooth-edged (not reeded) coin When I get to the edge grip and downs palm, the coin just keeps slipping out of my fingers Can you do these with smooth-edged coins?

What a wonderful exercise! You are a fantastic instructor, Rick I've spent a lifetime in magic, and I've been to my share of lectures What separates you from most is your quiet passion; you sincerely want people to learn the correct way of doing things Also, your music metaphors perfectly compliment the various points you make As others have said, this could easily be paid content Thank you!

@keynzah
i live in norway, and the biggest coin we have here is on 27,5mm in order to palm this, i would have to crunch almost my whole hand my big hands dont help either
Comment from : @keynzah

@AlvPower
This is nice Put these palms, except for classic and finger, i find them so hard I want to cry I want to to be able to do this so bad but it's so hard I wonder if I have muscles in my fingers at all And I find your way of showing the palms disturbing For me they are hard but it's like you're not even noticing how hard they can be for some people
