I would think first you'd need to know what sized coin works best for your hand size right? I mean doesn't make sense to try to palm a half dollar if your hand isn't small enough to keep it in place It looks like you're using a Morgan dollar? In your routine you go from JW grip to doing edge grip with your thumb and second finger I've always done it with my thumb and first finger Have I been doing it wrong all this time?
