I am so appreciative for this entire series, because I really love photography but hate the post-editing process due to the software complexity that felt unnecesarily too elaborate and took away from my enjoyment of digital photography So I really appreciate the clarity and simplicity in how you broke down the steps for a normal-person out there Many thanks :) Comment from : Amanda Amarawansha |

Sean here is something that may help with creating a B&W portraitbrbrSet your camera to jpeg & raw Choose the B&W setting your body allows Your screen will display your image in B&W It is easier to see the contrast and the highlights when the screen is in B&W Of course you’ll have the color raw file to make the adjustments you show ed in this video Shooting B&W in jpeg will help you visualize what the image will look like when it is manipulated in color raw I am a Fuji user My body allows us to use filter simulations Red, green, and yellow This further helps us visualize the end point of the raw image Again, many bodies allows us to do thisbrbrOf course, you can visualize what the potential B&W image will look like after you take the file to Lightroom or whatever you use in post production I live my life with the KISS principle in mind Keep it simple stupid As all bodies have this capacity, shoot B&W jpeg files and color raw files simultaneously, why not use it brbrAs usual, this video has been so valuable I always look forward to your new videos and rewatch your old ones Thank you for the time and effort you put into your productions You and the products are appreciatedbrbrMask On Nurse Marty Comment from : Martin Greenberg |
