Thanks for the video But I still don't understand: if EPS isn't paid to us as investors why do we care and how is attributable to us? As long as the stock price goes up (with momentum or young companies they're usually negative EPS anyway) I just don't get why it matters, it doesn't increase the stock price?

i think EPS divided by share price is an even better metric for comparing companies Otherwise you're not taking into account how expensive the stock is
