I just got an "offer" via email for these credit cards, so I read the fine print for the only things that matter, fuel discounts and buying a dang vehicle with points Well the terms say you can only use up to $1000 in points towards a vehicle purchase per year 😂 As for fuel, after you spend $1500 in fuel during the year, you can redeem $100 Basically it's 75 cash back towards fuel, unless you spend more than $1500 a year in fuel, in which case you're still only getting $100 back, making the amount of cashback dininish Overall these GM cards look like trash Glad I didn't apply I'll just keep using my 2 cashback on everything Paypal card and my 5 cashback on fuel from my rotating category cardsbrbrSucks to be that guy in these comments who said he has 11 million points and can't spend them on a new pickup truck The fine print will only let him spend 100,000 points on it Comment from : @Time75381

I received an email notification that my monthly statement was available, and I printed it off for a later review, and the next day decided to pay the monthly balance in fullbrbrNext day signed into Goldman's website, to pay he monthly balanceand the options given for payment was 1 Current Balance, 2 Statement Balance, 3 Minimum paymentand none of the figures matched the statement amount that was previously reported (in the email and on the hardcopy of the monthly statement)!! brbrI called Customer service, and was informed that this was normal if a credit was issued for something originally purchased during the previous statement period, it would change the monthly statement amount I asked why that credit wouldn't be reflected in the following monthly statement periodreplied, "That's just how it works" I suggested they get with Capital One and learn how to work out the issues with statementsbrbrAlso when they issue a credit on the statements, apparently they are a different color fontnot sure as they are very hard to distinguish from the charged amountswhy not use a minus sign after credits???? Have had this card with Cap1 for over 5 yrs Got an initial $300 cl while starting to rebuild my credit Over the 5 yrs I was never given a cl increase Didnt matter whether I made timely payments , pai off in full, just never was offered Now that Goldman took this over and I still use it and pay off in a timely manner no increase is offered! I lost my letter with my Welcome Code and my automatic payment didn't transfer over, so my GM payment is late! I have been calling customer service ALL DAY and the wait is 3 to 5 hours They took my number and said they would call me back in 30 minutes NOTHING! That was 14 hours ago and I have had my phone on and with me all day Someone help me please????? Another note regarding the Apple Card: You can apply, get approved, and decline the offer they approved you for, and still get no hard pull on your credit report (they won’t automatically open an open if you’re approved, you have to accept) To decline, just tap “no thanks” after they give you your offer brbrNo hard pull unless you’re approved AND you accept the approval and commit to opening a card account Which could be a useful metric to see what Goldman Sachs would give you Comment from : @xYasago
