No dude you didnt buy them for the silver because these coins if you judge them by silver cost 200-300 more than the silver content, and you dont have none of the 1934/35/36 coins that dont have the swastika and are much cheaper with the same silver content You just like them for the swastika because otherwise you would be buying them aswell as buying 1 OZ pure silver bullion coins

Thanks for sharing I understand needing to be sensitive to other peoples feelings on this issue of Germany's causing WWIIbrAlthough two of my aunts spent two years each in concentration camps And one uncle died in Stalingrad, the other was in the Waffen SS My father was in Third Armored Still I don't advertise too loudly my little collection of Two and Five Mark coins They did produce high quality coinage for a short period We should not ever forget what happened I know for sure Go to Mauthausen or Treblinka, extrermination camps, and see for yourself Anyway the G is for Karlsruhe and the F is for Stuttgart Keep your eye's peeled for very rare mint error coins from the Third Reich So far I've found two Both with obvious doubling Almost unheard of, thats sweet for me All the bestbrBTW the Two Mark coins are 625 AG and the Five mark coins are 900 AG

Excellent review and history here Thank You I have a Browning Hi-Power 1911 Pistol that my Great Grandfather brought home from WW2 It has the Swastika engraved above the trigger well and on the slide It was produced under Nazi Occupation in Belgium in 1942-1943 My Great Grand Father took it off a German Officer that was captured during the Battle of the Bulge in 1944 - it was in a Luger holster which i also have :)
