A note on the rephrasing - you don't have to expect them to copy; you can just say what they said in a grammatically correct way without expecting them to imitate As you said, they will absorb it! To anyone who has been doing all of these things but hasn’t heard words yet, don’t worry and keep doing what you’re doing!
