Mobile detailing and it cost way more to set up Not a bucket of soap and rags Detailing shop is a lot of rent Lots of people need and want detail to their vehicles not for those prices though With the damages that can happen and you could get accused of on fancy vehicles that would pay that high amount Really not practical in nearly every situation as a side hustle it is an all out business Few people can detail a car well

As a self employed housecleaner, i see a lot of people talk about how the bigger the house you clean, the more money you make? you can charge flat rate or by hour depending on the size of the house or what they have in the houseFor example, i charge 20$ a hour on a 6,000 square foot mansion with 6 dogs,2 cats, a baby, 2 guests rooms that get used often, 5 bathrooms,4 bedrooms, huge kitchen that always has a sink full of dirty dishes,a playroom for the baby thats always messyect Im usually there working with a partner so the job can get done in one day It usually takes me and that partner 6-8 hours We each make 90-120$ after we split the money 50/50 While at another house, a 2,000 square foot home with 2 dogs and 2 cats, 2 bedrooms, 1 guest room that barely ever gets used, a small kitchen that’s kept up with very well,and 2 bathrooms, we charge a flat rate of 100$ for 3 hours of work making 50$ each If we did 2 of these smaller homes with the same charge making 50$ each in 3 hours per house we could make 100$ in 6 hours Thats 10$ more than if you charged by the hour at a house thats 3x the size with a hot mess to clean up after Personally, i prefer the smaller houses

If you’re going to clean house, check to see if you have a local commercial cleaning supply company A lot of them are now open to the public and carry concentrated cleaning liquids that you mix with water 1 ounce per gallon They will also have mops and buckets and most anything you need for cleaning Good luck

I have owned "Yard Maintenance" business for 16 years just for the record there is A LOT more involved than gas and maintenance - it is very expensive to make an income this way and requires a lot of sacrifice - It is a a rewarding business and does make a fair amount of money but requires dedication - Also if your let this business take over your life it will -speaking from experience - Great video there are some honest trades for hard working folks here

It leaves highly-visible scratches Microfiber towels are the way - and there are different kinds So - detailing is a great idea, but it isn't quite so simplistic BE CAREFUL Educate yourself on appropriate equipment and techniques before diving in, or risk pissing off a whole bunch of people
