I started my channel over a year ago I haven’t been very consistent with posting videos It took 7 months for me to post a second video after my first My goal is to show my viewers how I live sustainably growing most of my own food in the mountains of Ecuador Self-sufficiency is my passion I’m still learning all the tech stuff necessary to film and edit good videos Recently I have seen an uptick in traffic to my channel I’ve gotten 100 new subscribers in less than 2 months I’m experimenting with different styles of videos to see what works best It’s encouraging to see that people are tuning in

There is no quick fix I just think that people will resonate with things they feel connected to You can kinda juke the stats a little bit, but an algorithm like YouTube's is designed to extract $$$, so it evolves I'll say thisanyone who follows me will get a follow in return, particularly if you're creating content I happen to love retro gaming and I just like making stuff to share Sometimes it hits, a lot of the times it misses But I want to be true to the things I love, not chase the things I am told MIGHT generate interest That feels soulless
