Nah, it's way better having to fight with thirty layers of plastic wrap and tape whilst being extremely careful not to damage your brand new cards you just got from a seller with the fine motor skills if a toddler on Mountain Dew

Absolutely shocked that you didn’t know to use penny sleeve inside the top loader This has been done for decades with sports cards Long before Pokémon even existed, and blue painters tape is fine to use and widely accepted as the standard Easy to remove and not as tacky (sticky)brbrEdit: I stand corrected, you used an etb sleeve

Penny sleeves are preferred over the sleeves you used Penny sleeve is less likely to damage the card when removing it for grading etc
