One thing I really like is to read fiction books that include something about handweaving I'd recommend "Caramelo" by Sandra Cisneros If you can read Spanish I think the Spanish edition is even better even though Cisneros writes in English There are some interesting stories about Mexican rebozos "woven" into the narrative Rebozos used to be made with silk, some were ikat dyed, and often had very eleborate macramed fringes Mexico had its own silk industry for a while Comment from : @margaretcopeland1055 |
