Your math absolutely makes zero sense, your saying the load was 4 amps and you took a 110 ah ( 55 amps useable 50 rule) and you got to 50 battery capacity in an hour??? A couple lantern batteries could do that Your math is wrong,your display is grossly wrong,or your battery is a pack of AA batteries inside the shell or something No way a 68 pound 110ah batter can't run 4 amps for an hour, a cell phone almost has that capability

Lead acid is so history as a 100 AH LiFePO4 batteries is as low as $275 now A load that small would easily have run for a couple days on lithium

I boondock in my travel trailer and have very, very little power needs/consumption Like your experiment, I run my stereo w/ bluetooth, a couple of LED lights, and a water pump occasionally That's about it, other than a minimal draw from when the fridge kicks on with spark and let's the propane take over running it I considered a cheap battery monitor, but it's hardly worth it I do have a 100W solar suitcase from Renogy with the built-in solar controller so I use it during the day to keep my battery full I haven't had my battery die on me yet but always wondered when I would have it down around 50 This video gives me a good idea, although I know each battery is slightly different depending on its health You picked up a new sub thanks again

Been watching these comparison videos Very realistic real world results The only thing I laughed at was using the 2 LED "bulbs" They are really insignificant IMO They draw around 60milliamps each on average The old Edison bulbs? Ya, around 13amps maybe? But, hey, good job

We can, and we do Per the V-MAX engineers we can discharge down to 75 DOD and still main maximum the Total Lifetime Watt-Hour rating You bought a "Dual Purpose" battery - a Starting / Trolling Motor battery These cheap Dual Purpose batteries are not designed for true deep cycles in an RV or Off-Grid application You bought the WRONG battery

Under load, the battery reads a lower voltage Is it at 50 when it's reading 122 under a load? brOr is it at 50 when it's reading 122 with no load? brI have 3 batteries of 95 AH rating used for running an oxygen machine It starts at 128 and drops to 126 under load After 3 hours or so it's reading 124 but goes back up to 126 when I turn it off brDo I run it down to 122 with no load, which would be about 120 under load? br Or should I stop when it's at 122 under a load? brBasically, I am not sure if I should read the battery voltage when it's under a load or not

I put an amp meter with a setpoint switch I use the switch to kill the power to the furnace at 122 amps added a twin factor battery Living in MN I like battery in the morning This system is going on 5 yrs

Those results are shocking to mebrSo 4 Amps at 12v you only got about 50 watts before you hit the 1 hour mark with a battery that size
