I have seen this panel discussion three times and I must say that I am impressed beyond words by the thoughtful, compassionate, knowledgeable comments of Andrew Young, which paint a far different picture of civil rights leaders attitudes toward John F Kennedy than has been written in recent years His point of view is more like the point of view that was expressed in the first 10 years or so after JFK died I don't mean to imply that they are antiquated Not at all, it is more that they are less dogmatic, more practical, more realistic I hope Mr Naftali interviews him for his book, which I look forward to reading In fact, all the commentators were great and made wonderful contributions to this discussion
