That's a Japanese 50 sen coin From 'Showa 3', or 1928 Japanese years are often given based on the name of the era of the current emperor That era ended in 1989 1928 was the first year of that mintage and it's 720 silver

Germany was united in year 1871 under kaiser (emperor) Wilhelm I but each state and pricipality kept it's own ruler That is why there is such a variety of portraits on german 2,3 and 5 mark coins Some of them from small states can go for big prices since they have very low mintage compated to those from big states like Bavaria, Saxony etc

the Philippine pesos from 1903 to 1906 were the same size and silver content of 90 the same as Morgan dollars from 1907 till 1912 the peso size and silver content was reduced to 80
