I’m a rancher not a farmer but I have a JD 2007 pre-emissions So I was in the the market for a 75hp tractor so my first thought was JD With that said I this right to repair act was even effecting someone like me who can do a lot repairs myself But not only do you have to buy there over price parts you have to program them with a computer to VIN match them to the tractors computer So let’s say you rip off some wires of a sensor You buy the sensor and replace it yourself but now you still have to get a tech to sync to the tractor

Do your self a favor and cancel your farm plan accounts, owned by Deere, once they charge your account you have almost no recourse on a bill dispute, I canceled mine about 6 years ago and have benefited from doing so
