a-maze-ing emergency exit instead of grabbing the steel you can long jump and Mario will grab on to the island use this trick if you are a speedrunner

Always hated the Hazy Maze Cave The stars in the maze itself were ridiculous The secondary “emergency exit” star which implicitly should have been more difficult to obtain, while the first star was ridiculously obscure

Am I missing something in the emergency exit level? I can hang on the thing above but it only lasts a few seconds I can’t even get to the corner turn part of it so I can never get the star and I fall in the hole below
